the free shuttle?
The
shuttle
is exactly 1 mile away, however,
the 1 mile is all hill so don't expect that your whole family could
comfortably walk there.

the lifts / town?
The
gondola
lift and the free parking lot are
exactly 2 miles away. The north end of Main Street is 1.8
miles
away. FYI, the "main drag" part of Main Street is 0.8 miles
long.
Are you on a
maintained road?
All
roads
leading up to the house are city or
county maintained and plowed.
How big is
the
driveway?
During
the
winter, when snow takes up a lot of
space, the driveway can accomodate up to 6 cars.
Do you allow
pets?
We do
not
allow pets.
Do you allow
smoking?
There
is no
smoking in the house, but we
provide ash trays outside.

check-in?
Check-in
is
4:00pm Mountain Time.
Can I check
in early?
If
early
check-in is available we will let you
know the morning of your arrival.

is 10:00am Mountain Time.
Can I check
out late?
We
cannot
allow late check-out. It
takes 2 people a full 6 hours to dust,
vacuum, mop, scrub, clean, wash, and prepare the house for the next
guest. Tenants that wish to check-out late should purchase
an extra night.
Do you
provide
firewood?
Yes,
we
provide
firewood.
Do you
offer
discounts?
Standard discounts are built into the listed rates. Other discounts
are available as advertised.
Is the house handicap / elderly accessible?
The house
is not considered handicap accessible and although there is a queen bed
on the first floor, elderly persons may have trouble ascending the
staircase to the second floor where both showers are located.
Additionally, the high-quality mattresses used in Blue Owl Lodge can
prove to be too high for some elderly persons to get in and out of.
Are there woods, a yard, or stream for my kids to play in?
The house
is located on 0.6 acres, the majority of which is taken up by the back
yard. There is a large, undeveloped wooded area about 300 feet
north of the house and the area further up the road and to the east is
also undeveloped. The nearest stream is about 1 mile away.
